Materials
Everything the House makes begins with a material chosen before a single line is drawn. Two of them are rare enough to define the work entirely — a cotton spun in Switzerland from the finest fibre in the world, and thread of pure gold and silver made by a process that exists nowhere else. What follows is a closer look at each.

Sea Island Cotton
The finest cotton fibre in the world, spun in Switzerland by a house that has drawn fine yarn since 1866. The hand of silk, the honesty of cotton — better with every wash.

Gold & Silver Thread
Not a coating or an illusion, but thread of pure gold and silver, made by a process that exists nowhere else. Worked into black cloth by hand, it holds its lustre for good.
